The efficient management of fibre network assets is a critical factor in ensuring optimal service delivery, reducing operational costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. A geographic information systems (GIS)-based network management system provides a powerful solution for telecom operators to visualise, locate, and manage their vast and complex infrastructure with ease.
This webinar will look at the challenges faced by operators in tracking and managing their fibre infrastructure, highlighting common pain points such as inefficiencies, downtime, and reductions in resources. You'll learn how GIS enables real-time visibility and control over your network assets, allowing you to make data-driven decisions that optimise both operational efficiency and customer service.
Who should attend this webinar?
This webinar is ideal for telecom operators, engineers and other professionals responsible for maintaining and optimising fibre networks, including operations managers, network engineers, and technical teams.
Those working with GIS who want to understand how tools can be leveraged for fibre network management will also find this useful. Network planners and designers can find out how GIS solutions can aid in visualising and managing network infrastructure.
Executives and directors can learn about the impact of GIS on improving customer service, reducing downtime, and making more informed, data-driven decisions for their network management.
What are the key takeaways?
- Understanding the advantages of GIS in telecom network management
- How GIS helps operators visualise and locate assets in real time
- Streamlining network maintenance, fault detection, and resource allocation
- Reducing downtime and improving service reliability with GIS-based data insights
