Third-generation multi-service 400G test set available from VeEX

VeEX has announced the launch of the RXT-6402, its third-generation advanced multi-service 400G test set.

The new RXT-6402 module and RXT-1202 high-power chassis are based on the latest generation of flexible, state-of-the-art FPGA technology, supporting native PAM4 and NRZ optical modules (no adapters, faceplates, or module changes required). Capable of running up to four independent tests at once, it supports transceiver, AOC/DAC and link testing for Ethernet, fibre channel, CPRI, OTN, SDH/SONET and much more.

The RXT-6402 test module supports multiple NRZ and PAM4 data rates from <10M to 400GbE, including QSDP-DD ZR/ZR+ modules, in a single handheld unit. Handheld with battery operation, it can help to reduce testing time at large data centres and aggregation nodes. This increases efficiency and ease-of-use for FAEs and installation and maintenance crews working on large equipment rooms, data centre clusters or customer premises. The RXT-6402 will be showcased at booth 5717.
