MRV Communications has announced that its OptiSwitch 9244 10GE pre-aggregation platform is the latest solution in the OptiSwitch portfolio to be compliant with the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) Carrier Ethernet (CE) 2.0 specifications.
The OptiSwitch 9244 platform features a compact, high-density and low-power design that empowers service providers to streamline the delivery and management of mobile, wholesale and business Ethernet services, the company says.
The MEF CE 2.0 certification demonstrates the OptiSwitch platform’s ability to provide full interoperability and visibility into customer networks and enable service providers to further simplify services deployment and time-to-market.
