OptoTest has introduced the new OP940 Insertion Loss and Return Loss instrument as the next generation of its IL/RL technology. This instrument boasts a larger colour display with multiple layers of functionality.
While retaining many of the features of the original IL/RL instrumentation, this generation of equipment provides more control of the settings and allows the user to measure RL results at two positions simultaneously using the front panel controls, the company says. The user interface has been reimagined to be more intuitive, easier than ever to use, and to make full use of the new colour LCD front panel display.
Like other OptoTest equipment the OP940 supports the USB interface. The OPL-PRO turnkey application software fully integrates this instrument into the data acquisition process of the production line.
