Emulex has launched the new OneConnect OCe14000 family of 10GbE and 40GbE Network Adapters and 10GbE Converged Network Adapters (CNAs). They enable higher virtual machine (VM) densities, and support secure hybrid clouds with virtual network fabrics. The RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) low latency architecture delivers application acceleration and provides an open application performance interface (API) that integrates with next generation software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.
The OneCommand Manager application provides centralised management of Emulex OneConnect adapters and LightPulse Fibre Channel HBAs throughout the data centre from a single management console. The fully integrated OneCommand Manager for VMware vCenter Server plug-in provides single-pane-of-glass management for Emulex adapters from the VMware console to simplify management for virtual server deployments.
