Kinetic’s 8-gig network uses high-efficiency wifi 6E equipment, the latest and fastest in wifi technology, from Zyxel Communications. Customers have access to an app that is designed to allow them to easily manage their home network. According to Clay Fisher, Kinetic chief marketing officer, the network offers the “fastest speeds among major internet service providers in Kinetic’s 18-state service area.” He says: “The performance on this fibre network is astonishing. You can send and receive large files instantly and enjoy gig speeds on unlimited smart devices at once. Gamers can gain a competitive advantage with virtually lag-free gaming. And everyone can stream and share content at the same time. Your speeds stay high, no matter how many devices are online.”
Expanding its multi-gig service is a key part of Kinetic’s $2bn, multi-year capital investment to provide fibre broadband across its service area in 18 states. The company also partners with cities, counties and other groups to drive fibre deeper into the network faster.
