Construction of network provider GoNetspeed’s today full-fibre network has been completed in North Haven. The company invested $4.2m in the project, which allows more than 4,300 residents and businesses throughout North Haven access to the benefits that full-fibre brings, including high-speed, symmetrical upload and download internet speeds.
Investment in Connecticut’s connectivity
GoNetspeed is a fibre optic internet provider serving Maine, Alabama, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and West Virginia, in the U.S. 2021 saw the firm form a partnership with Oak Hill Capital, which allowed for the expansion of its fibre network throughout the Northeastern U.S. Currently, more than 30 communities across Connecticut have access to GoNetspeed’s service.

Old Saybrook will be next to benefit from full-fibre
This is the latest announcement from the provider, which also recently committed to bringing its full-fibre network to Old Saybrook, Connecticut thanks to a privately funded $3.6m investment ithe region, where some 4,400 homes and businesses will be able to access full-fibre broadband Construction has already begun to deploy service throughout the community and the company says that full-fibre could be available as early this year.
