Fibre Systems Autumn edition is out now

The Fibre Systems team is pleased to announce the launch of our Autumn print issue!

This month is jam-packed with content, from the latest on how subsea cables could be used to detect natural disasters, to how metro networks are adapting to the bandwidth demands being placed upon them. Our FTTH update this issue focuses on the Middle-east and North Africa region, the main technological, regulatory, market and operational challenges and the strategies operators are adopting to address these challenges.

From the cover story of this edition, we have two great articles focusing on the ever-present issue of network security, one looking at how a big-name operator is making strides towards a quantum-safe future, and the other at the critical role of network encryption at layer 1.

Many of these articles are now available on our website – from the latest optical communications news stories and features to analysis pieces and cutting-edge products, below is a snapshot of what you’ll find in Fibre Systems Autumn.

If you aren't subscribed and would like to receive a print issue of Fibre Systems to your door, or a digital edition to your inbox, you can subscribe at: https://www.fibre-systems.com/subscription
