SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA – VIAVI Solutions has revealed the first winner of its ‘Win an OTDR’ competition for UK telecoms contractors.
Congratulations go to Derek Williamson of KN Group, who is the first prize winner under the new global initiative in support of the fibre optic industry and contractor community. This vital community of network technicians is where VIAVI tests its equipment, workflow automation tools like StataSync, and training materials.
Thanks to the invaluable feedback from this community, VIAVI is able to help contractors speed up projects, get jobs done right first time, and help get contractors paid quickly thanks to industry standardised reporting.
The prize – either a 'best-in-class' SmartOTDR or an autofocus FiberChek digital fibre inspection probe (RRP £4,000 and £3,000 respectively) – is available every three months to UK telecoms contractors, and the prize will rotate between the two products.
